Class of 2/27/13

In the next class we will go back and update our iGoogle home page. For those of you who don't know anything about iGoogle, I will also help you become familiar with iGoogle and how to set it up. Also be aware that iGoogle will not be available after November 1, 2013. I feel that iGoogle is so extremely valuable that we will next talk about other similar products. There are many and I picked three to tell you about and one that I choose to replace my iGoogle account. This one I will talk about in detail.
UStart.org. Protopage, and Netvibes are the three with the later the one I have chosen.

Class of Feb. 20, 2013

This is the first class of the Spring 2013 semester. Like all my first classes, I will give you a overview of what you will learn in the class, what you need to do to keep up with the class, how I conduct the class and how you interact with me.

I guess to start out we need to know what is the Internet, its initial purpose, and how it evolved to what it is today and its future to expect in the future.

Technology is changing our lives everyday and the Internet is one of the advances that you should welcome and not fear it. It is not going away.

Remember there is no stupid question, only people who don't want to learn. Thus we will start each class with questions that puzzle you.
